If  you are looking for breath taking views, a drive on the Kancamagus Highway through the White Mountains in New Hampshire is definitely the place to go. Believe me when I tell you that this is a trip you wouldn't want to miss.

We arrived in North Conway late in the afternoon which was perfect time to take the scenic drive as the sun was beginning to set. The beautiful 35 mile long highway winds itself through the White Mountains, following alongside the Swift River. Along the way we made many pitstops in which we explored the Rocky Gorge Falls, the Lower Falls, and many of the scenic overlooks of the mountain. As we worked our way up the mountain, stopping at every rest area possible to snap a quick picture, we were completely blown away by beauty of the White Mountains as every stop came with different views.

While on our short trip to New Hampshire we also got the chance to hike to one of the most beautiful falls in Crawford Notch State Park, Arethusa Falls. Although it is rated a little on the harder side it is definitely worth the hike. There are four different trails you can take all of which lead to Arethusa falls. Some off these trails include smaller falls and scenic overlooks. However we decided to stick to the Arethusa falls trail which is the shortest and fastest way to get to the falls. Majority of the trail was definitely an uphill hike but once we arrived we were completely blown away by the 140ft falls beauty as it towered over us.
